Today, the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) division of Direct Energy Solar officially rebranded to Centrica Business Solutions. This transition supports Centrica Business Solutions’ journey of becoming one integrated business with a globally recognized name, offering a suite of end-to-end energy solutions for its customers, as well as expertise to help them with their energy strategy and management.
This change allows Centrica Business Solutions to increase its suite of distributed energy offerings and offer more value to its customers. Customers now have access to a broader portfolio of innovative distributed energy solutions beyond solar and storage, including standby generation, cogeneration, and demand response – to name a few. Customers also benefit from Centrica Business Solutions’ expertise with energy strategy and management to drive business advantage through operational efficiency, performance, and resilience.
Together with their sister company, Direct Energy Business, Centrica Business Solutions offers comprehensive end-to-end energy solutions.
Direct Energy Solar has been part of Centrica plc, a global energy and services leader, since 2014. To effectively describe the relationship between the two brands, Direct Energy Solar’s C&I division was operating as Direct Energy Solar, a Centrica Business Solutions Company for the better part of 2018 while in the process of transitioning to the new brand.
The residential division of Direct Energy Solar will continue to operate under its current brand and will continue to support O&M for their 9,000+ residential customer base under their current brand.
