Learn about the steps we take to specify the ideal CHP system for your organisation
1. Identify your needs

Many organisations choose CHP units to meet their cost management goals, and our team of experts can help you achieve this. We’ll work with you to find out how much you could save, based on your energy needs and the suitability of your site.

We will:
• Discuss your goals in depth
• Review your site and energy usage
• Navigate incentives and relevant regulations
• Create a CHP system design and provide an initial quote

2. Site visit and proposal

Whether your proposed system is factory-tested or requires integration with existing systems, we’ll closely investigate your site to recommend the ideal CHP unit for you. We’ll take into account interconnection with your primary fuel supply before we offer you a proposal, giving you an idea of what your CHP plant could look like.

Solar process step 3: Designing your solar PV solution
3. Designing your solution

We’ll finalise a CHP solution that meets the specific energy needs for your site and engineer a final design. Using our 3D laser scanning technology, you’ll be able to visualise your CHP unit before it’s installed, demonstrating how it’ll fit into your site. And to make deployment straightforward for you, we’ll also handle all regulatory and compliance requirements.

4. CHP unit installation

Our project managers will work with you to develop an installation plan, designed to avoid disruption to your everyday operations. Our team will then safely and efficiently install your CHP plant in line with the agreed functional design, and test your system extensively to ensure it’s ready.

5. Go live and monitor

Following testing, your CHP plant will be ready to provide combined heat and power for your organisation. With Operations & Maintenance, we'll care for your CHP unit throughout its lifetime – so you can be assured that it’s operating at its maximum potential.
